In neighborhoods nearby Utah Valley University it is becoming increasingly popular to sub-lease single family houses and convert them into rental complexes for singles.  

In Orem city not more than three unrelated individuals may occupy any single family dwelling.  An "illegal house" is a house which is being sub-leased as a rental complex in violation of city regulations.

If you suspect a house has been illegally sub-leased, call the Orem city Neighborhood Preservation officers and report it.
